Blitzball Arena

Hi All!
My first work here on Artstation!
Some time ago Marc Papeghin (a musician) asked me if I would be interested in building the Blitzball Stadium for his Final Fantasy X music medley. I really love his medleys, so offcourse I couldn't say no to that.
I started building based on cut scenes from the game as a reference. When the base mesh was done, I populated the arena with people, using the Golaem crowd simulator. An amazing tool which I hope to be using again in the future. The ocean was simulated using the BOSS system in Maya.
It was a challenging project for me, I created over 30 shots of 4 seconds long and learned a lot of new stuff.
Compared to the original I'm really happy with the end result and that I can finally share this piece with you guys.
